God is Almighty, and intercessory prayer is able of everything for, united to the perennial intercession of Jesus Christ at the right hand of the Father, it touches God’s heart for the sake of the needs we introduce unto Him, according to his mercy.
We men and women are concerned about working and trying to solve our problems, but many evils are not prevented because of lack of prayer, and many blessings are lost because of lack of prayer. In a single instant, the Lord can do what is impossible for us. The Christian one, out of his or her faith, is called to pray in the Spirit, united to Christ’s heart and mind, according to His will, for the sake of the Church and the world. Jerusalem Community tries to live this mission as central, enabled out of our seek of holiness and our abiding at the Lord’s feet in adoration.
This mission is much more urgent as we know that we have spiritual enemies and that ” we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ef 6,12).
